River Hospital is pleased to announce a collaboration with Upstate Medical University to provide mammography services to the community during the next phase of the Hospital's ongoing renovation and expansion project.

As construction progresses, renovations to the lower level of the hospital will temporarily impact the Radiology Department, requiring the Mammography suite to be taken offline while work is being completed. River Hospital has partnered with Upstate Medical University to continue providing patients with convenient access to mammograms.

Services aboard the Upstate Medical University Mobile Mammography Unit are anticipated to begin in September and continue through mid-October while renovations are completed. The mobile unit will be located on the River Hospital campus, allowing patients to receive their scheduled mammograms in a convenient and familiar location. Patients will continue to schedule their appointments through River Hospital, ensuring a seamless transition throughout the construction period.

Once renovations to the Radiology Department are complete, mammography services will return to their newly updated location featuring updated patient care space and new state-of-the-art mammography equipment. These enhancements will provide an improved patient experience while supporting the delivery of high-quality breast imaging services for years to come.
