River Hospital and River Family Health Center is pleased to welcome Dr. Teresa Lang back to its team of quality providers. Dr. Lang previously practiced at River Hospital from 2003-2007.
As a member of the River Family Health Center (RFHC) team, Dr. Lang is currently accepting new patients and will provide full-spectrum family medicine for patients of all ages. She joins RFHC after previously practicing at the Community Health Center of Northern New York in Gouverneur. She is looking forward to returning to care for patients in the River Communities.

Dr. Lang is Board Eligible in Family Medicine and received her Medical Degree from the University of Massachusetts after practicing for seven years as an Anesthesiologist in Poland. Dr. Lang completed her Residency & Fellowship in Family Medicine at the University of Massachusetts at Worchester, MA. Dr. Lang has provided comprehensive care for a diverse patient population while practicing at Gouverneur Hospital, Fletcher Allen Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont and River Hospital.
River Family Health Center (RFHC), located adjacent to River Hospital, provides comprehensive primary family health care services to the year round and seasonal residents of the River Communities. RFHC is certified as a Level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home Program, an innovative program for improving primary care. River Family Health Center was the first practice in Northern New York to receive this level of PCMH recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance.
