River Hospital and River Family Health Center is pleased to welcome Dr. David Wallace to its team of quality providers. Dr. Wallace will begin seeing patients at River Family Health Center on March 20.

As a member of the River Family Health Center (RFHC) team, Dr. Wallace is currently accepting new patients and will provide full-spectrum family medicine for patients of all ages. He joins RFHC after previously practicing at USA MEDDAC Guthrie Clinic in Fort Drum, NY. Dr. Wallace served on in the United States Army on active duty for 24 years, and transferred into the Reserves in 2015. He is looking forward to providing healthcare to local veterans and the civilian community.

Dr. Wallace is Board Certified in Family Medicine. He received his Medical Degree from the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Wallace completed his Residency in Family Medicine at Martin Army Community Hospital in Fort Benning, GA.

River Family Health Center (RFHC), located adjacent to River Hospital, provides comprehensive primary family health care services to the year round and seasonal residents of the River Communities. RFHC is certified as a Level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home Program, an innovative program for improving primary care. River Family Health Center was the first practice in Northern New York to receive this level of PCMH recognition from the National Committee for Quality Assurance.
