River Hospital will welcome Urologist, Joseph Jacob, MD on September 16, 2019. Dr. Jacob practices fulltime at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. Dr. Jacob will perform minor outpatient surgeries within River Hospital’s Ambulatory Surgery Unit; as well have office hours to see patients in River Family Health Center, on a monthly basis.

Dr. Jacob specializes in bladder cancer, prostate cancer, kidney cancer, testicular cancer, and penile cancer. Dr. Jacob will also see patients with kidney and bladder issues, bladder tumors, enlarged prostate and prostate tumors, kidney stones and urinary incontinence.

Dr. Jacob earned his medical degree from Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed a residency at Indiana University Medical Center. He also completed a Masters in Clinical Research and a fellowship in Urologic Oncology at Indiana University Medical Center. Dr. Jacob is a member of the American Urological Association (AUA) and Society of Urologic Oncology.
