River Hospital is pleased to welcome Stephanie Weiss to the staff as Executive Director of Development. Ms. Weiss joins River Hospital after leaving Save the River, where she has been employed since 1999. Ms. Weiss brings communication, management and organizational skills to the position, as well as a personal understanding of the critical importance of the hospital’s role in the community.

“River Hospital is the essence of what I love about working in the Thousand Islands,” Ms. Weiss said. “It’s an incredibly important community institution that has deep grassroots support. It's the only Emergency Room on the River, which has personally meant everything to me and many others I’ve known on the River. I am truly grateful for the community that has supported the Hospital so far, and excited to be a part of its future.”

Ms. Weiss’ duties will include working with the existing Development staff to build a strong and sustainable development program that will support the mission of River Hospital. She will also be actively involved in the launching of the Hope + Healing Capital Campaign.
