River Hospital is now operating River Hospital Convenient Care Monday through Friday 8:00am until 4:00pm, on the second floor of the Hospital, staffed by a physician or physician assistant.

The new clinic is intended for patients who are unable to secure an appointment with their primary care provider, need follow-up Emergency Department (ED) care and for those who have an acute or minor illness not requiring an ED visit. It will also see River Family Health Center patients unable to see their primary care provider for emergent care. Patients who do not have a primary care provider are welcome to use Convenient Care.

The clinic is not intended to provide ongoing primary care for patients. Persons with a chronic medical condition should see their primary care provider whenever possible. A patient visiting River Hospital Convenient Care who does not have a primary care provider will be given a list of local primary care providers after the appointment.

Patients must have a scheduled appointment to access River Hospital Convenient Care (RHCC). Patients are encouraged to call 315-482-1125 for an appointment during business hours.
