AUXILIARY PURPOSE

The River Hospital Auxiliary has supported the needs of the hospital and its patients since the late 1940's. For decades, the Hospital Auxiliary, first known as the E.J. Noble Hospital Auxiliary, has contributed supplies, equipment, funds and many volunteer hours to enhance the hospital's mission of providing quality care. Through members' dedication and annual fundraisers, this generous group is a valuable component of the River Hospital family.

Since the rebirth of River Hospital on April 15, 2003, the Auxiliary has made many donations to the hospital and clinic, including the following:

• $10,000 Easy Access Patient Tub
• Equipment for Hairdressing Salon
• $15,000 Blood Analyzer Machine for Laboratory
• Biofeedback Machine
• New Chairs for Adult Day Care
• New Carpeting for Adult Day Care Room
• Sterilizer
• Diagnostic Bright Lights
• Christmas Gifts for Patients and Residents of River Hospital
• ‘Softer Mammography Breast Pads’ for Radiology Department
• And more…….

AUXILIARY MEMBERSHIP DUES

1. Regular Membership — $10.00 per year
2. Patron Membership — $20.00 per year
3. Life Member — $100.00

AUXILIARY MEETINGS

Monthly meetings are scheduled the second Tuesday, 6:30 p.m. at River Hospital. (No meeting January through March.)

AUXILIARY EVENTS AND HAPPENINGS

Annual River Hospital Auxiliary Fashion Show
Held in July of each year, this event raises the majority of Auxiliary monies used to fund items for River Hospital and its patients.

Memorial Tree Lights
For a small donation in December of each year the lights on the Memorial Tree, which is located on the hospital campus, can be named and lit in loving memory of the donor’s choice.
